Artsy Boston City Elopement | Alina & John

ELOPEMENTS, WEDDINGS

I’ve been so excited to share photos from this Boston elopement! Alina and John met on the banks of the Seine while they were studying architecture in Paris. She’s from Russia and he’s from the US, so their love story is a whirlwind of long-distance romance and international travel. Finally together in Boston, they got married in an intimate ceremony on the banks of the Charles.

We began the day with coffee and pastries in Beacon Hill, then meandered our way through to city to the ceremony on the Esplanade. After they said “I do,” they had a little picnic reception with their guests, complete with homemade food and Russian delicacies. Not only was the picnic setup absolutely gorgeous, it was also so sweet to watch the newlyweds put it together with their friends, everyone snacking and laughing and dancing.

These two have such a vibrant sense of adventure and a keen eye for design — it was a dream to create these images together and capture their love in the heart of Boston.
