I had the best time travelling to Colorado for Dani and Jamo’s Garden of the Gods couples photos. It’s always such a pleasure to take photos for a fellow photographer, so I was over the moon when Dani and Jamo inquired about their session. Dani is a fantastic photographer, and both her and her partner are the most laid back people you’ll ever meet. I love when I show up to a session and the couple is playful, fun, and go with the flow! And that’s exactly how it was with these two lovebirds. Let’s chat a little bit about their backstory.
The Backstory | Garden of the Gods Couples Photos
Dani and Jamo originally met back in 2019 on the dating app Hinge (another online dating win for the books!) and had their very first date at a brewery on the East Coast. They were both immediately drawn to each other’s adventurous and outdoorsy personalities, so although it wasn’t necessarily love at first sight, they definitely connected right off the bat. They took things nice and slow in the beginning, and now here they are living in Colorado together getting their Garden of the Gods couples photos taken! What’s that phrase? Slow and steady always wins the race, right?
Dani and Jami really wanted photos to document this time period of their lives. This is a great reminder that it doesn’t have to be a special occasion to get your photos taken! “I’d love to remember this strange time in the world, after moving to a new place and starting to settle in here together. Leaning on each other for comfort and fun during tough times! Remembering our silly and goofy adventures together. Also it’ll be nice to have photos of when we were young and hot.” Couldn’t agree with you more Dani! So if you and your boo want to take pictures just because you’re young and hot, count me in.
What do they love about each other?
When asked what their favorite thing about the other was, their answers were so unbelievably sweet. Dani said that her favorite thing about Jamo was his kindness, and that she love how supportive he is, how well he listens to her, and how he always knows how to lift her spirits even when she “feels like poop”. I don’t know about you, but I think we all need someone in our lives like that! According to Jamo, his favorite thing about Dani is her sense of humor, and her comfortability talking about serious/difficult topics. These two really seem like they’re off to an amazing start, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Thank you Dani and Jamo for a such a fun session!
