I went to Glen Coe for the first time in 2015, and ever since I’ve been dying to shoot there. So, getting the chance to collaborate on this Scotland destination elopement in Glen Coe with an incredible international team was a pinch-me moment.
A Glen Coe Elopement
No matter how many times I visit, Glen Coe still amazes me — it’s one of those places that is so staggeringly beautiful and immense. There’s something about the quiet serenity of the landscape that makes me I feel like I have to whisper. I guess that’s how you know it’s a special place.
We were pleasantly surprised to have the most amazing weather on the morning of the shoot because we definitely didn’t expect it. I have literally never seen Glen Coe like this before (it’s usually very foggy or rainy). So to say that we lucked out is an understatement!
Rose + Julien’s story
Working with Rose and Julien on this Scotland destination elopement in Glen Coe was a dream. They’re both so easygoing and comfortable in front of the camera — as photographers themselves, they intuitively understood what I was going for with the shoot, making it feel very effortless.
We also happened to plan this elopement on their 6 month wedding anniversary. As if this day wasn’t special enough, this made it even more so. It was a really sweet way to commemorate their first 6 months of marriage.
