Maine Wedding at Aragosta at Goose Cove
Aragosta at Goose Cove is a boutique hotel nestled along the coast of Deer Isle, Maine. Known for its intimate setting and breathtaking views, it blends the quintessential beauty of coastal Maine with a truly incredible culinary experience. Aragosta focuses on a unique farm and sea-to-table dining with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. It’s one of those Maine wedding venues that is such a treat to document, not only for it’s natural beauty but for the care and love that goes into the dining experience.
Steph & Cole’s Story
Steph and Cole have been together for over eight years, having first met at Boston College through mutual friends. After dating long-distance between Boston and NYC, Cole moved to Boston to join Steph before law school took them both back to New York. After four years in Manhattan, they made the leap to San Francisco, where they still live today. The East Coast holds a special place for them so when thinking of a place to get married, Maine came to mind! Cole is originally from Seattle and Steph is from the north shore of Massachusetts. A Maine Wedding at Aragosta felt idyllic and perfectly combines the natural beauty of both places they call home.
We had the privilege of getting to know and spend quality time with Steph & Cole ahead of their Maine wedding at Aragosta. It was such a beautiful visit that we look back so fondly on. Between hanging out with Steph and Cole one day to taking their engagement photos the next, by the time their wedding rolled around we truly felt like friends.
Coastal Maine Wedding
S and C’s Maine wedding at Aragosta was full of raw beauty and every emotion in the book. From Steph putting on her stunning Alexandra Grecco wedding dress with her mom to Steph and Cole’s first look and portraits along the coast of Maine to their emotional ceremony and reception under the stars, the day got just got better and better.
Steph and Cole are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They embraced Max and me like family, and it was clear they make everyone in their lives feel the same. Their Maine wedding at Aragosta had some of the most heartfelt toasts I’ve ever heard – a testament to their genuine care for each other and for their people. This weekend reminded me over and over again how blessed I am to do this work and to witness this kind of gathering. I’ll be thinking about this one for a long, long time.
