Sometimes the best sessions come together at the last minute, and that’s exactly what happened with this dreamy Ocean Beach couples film session in San Francisco. Laid-back Love on Film
Arielle and Gordon reached out after I posted that I’d be in SF, and we decided to meet up for a low-key film session right before sunset. To make things even cooler, turns out Arielle is also a talented film photographer herself — so this session worked out perfectly. It’s always such a joy to photograph someone who has the same love for the look and feel of film photography.
These two were total naturals in front of the camera. Their chill, easygoing vibe made this Ocean Beach couples film session such a highlight from my recent visit to the Bay Area.
No big production, just a few rolls of film, salty air, and lots of laughs. The kind of spontaneous magic that reminds me why I fell in love with this job in the first place. And also a reminder of why I want to say yes to more creative sessions like this one.
Ocean Beach Couples Film Session
Ocean Beach gave us the most beautiful backdrop for these dreamy film photos. Expansive ocean views, wild grasses with pops of red, and that classic San Francisco haze that makes everything feel a bit more romantic. All the rich colors and breathtaking views paired with Arielle and Gordon’s contagious chemistry made this shoot feel like such a special one. We couldn’t have picked a more idyllic spot to spend an afternoon shooting on film.
