Nina & Oliver’s intimate wedding at the Chequessett Club was so special. They’re both designers, so of course everything was elegant, unique, and personal, and all of their details were so thoughtfully chosen and curated. This venue was the perfect location for their micro wedding, so if you’re searching for a waterfront wedding venue, I highly recommend the Chequessett Club! It was perfectly situated to catch the sunset, and felt like the perfect size for a small wedding.
Nina & Oliver’s Love Story
She’s from the East coast, and he’s from the West coast. They met in 2010 while attending design school in Rhode Island, and then lived in San Francisco for almost 7 years! They moved back east to Brooklyn in 2019 and both work as designers now. I was lucky enough to capture N & O’s engagement session last year, and we had the most wonderful time. I left their engagement session feeling like I had just made two new friends, and I was so excited to photograph their wedding!
My favorite thing about N & O’s wedding was how much care and thought they put into every single detail of their day. They chose to have a micro wedding, about 20 guests or so, and the intimacy of the day allowed everyone to fully experience everything exactly how N & O had hoped. The guests (and I) felt the connection between the two of them, and the connection they had with each of their friends and family who attended. I absolutely adore N & O, and it was so lovely to capture their wedding after photographing their engagement.
