M & O have the cutest online dating story. When we met up, Miwako explained that Oliver superliked her on Tinder. They talked for a little while via text and there was a solid connection from the start. The moment they fell in love? When Oliver first put his arm around Miwako while they were hanging out with one of his friends! How sweet, right?
Miwako’s family is from Japan, and Oliver’s is from the midwest. So, they’re splitting the difference and getting married in Hawaii! Miwako’s favorite thing about Oliver? “His infinite amount of kindness and happy-go-lucky mindset that reminds me to not take life too seriously. He is a solutions guy, if I mention a problem or even some food I am craving, he will make it happen.” And Oliver’s favorite thing about Miwako: “I like her sharpness, she makes me a better person. She brings a good counterbalance when I am being too much of a goof.” Let’s just say these two were meant to be together!
Lush, Tropical Botanical Garden Engagement Photos
When I first spoke with M & O about their vision for their engagement session, they told me they wanted their engagement photos to feel warm, lush, and inviting– not exactly what comes to mind when I think of late fall in New England! So, we went to the Roger Williams Botanical Garden instead. Taking photos in the glasshouses just felt right, and it was the perfect spot for these two plant lovers (as you can see, Oliver kept stopping to take pictures on his plant identification app lol).
