Though I am a Boston-based wedding photographer, I’ve been honored to work with clients all over New England and New York, and have been able to shoot at some of the best Brooklyn wedding venues. 1. Wythe Hotel – Williamsburg, Brooklyn

2. Frankies 457 Spuntino – Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn

If a cozy, candlelit dinner with your favorite people sounds like the perfect wedding night, Frankies Spuntino is your dream venue. This beloved Brooklyn restaurant has an outdoor courtyard that’s equal parts rustic and charming. It’s the kind of place where laughter fills the air, and every guest feels like family.

3. The River Café – Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn

Historic New York romance with a waterfront view.

Nestled under the Brooklyn Bridge, The River Café is nothing short of magical. The restaurant venue’s storied history is renowned for a reason. With unbeatable views of the Manhattan skyline behind you and a Michelin-star meal with your guests, it checks all the boxes. With a guest capacity of 100 people, it’s the perfect spot for an intimate wedding at one of New York’s most iconic restaurants.

4. Prospect Park Boathouse – Prospect Park, Brooklyn

A fairytale setting in the heart of Brooklyn.

The Prospect Park Boathouse is the definition of old-world romance. Think Beaux-Arts architecture, lush greenery, and a stunning waterfront backdrop. With multiple spaces, the venue can accomodate 150 guests for a seated dinner and dancing. It’s a hidden gem that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another era, but this time in the heart of Prospect Park.

5. Brooklyn Botanic Garden – Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

New York City’s very own secret garden.

If you’re looking for that secret garden setting at a Brooklyn wedding venue, then Brooklyn Botanic Garden is the best of both worlds. Imagine saying “I do” surrounded by cherry blossoms or dancing under the stars in a glass-walled conservatory. With various dream-like settings like the Japanese Hill and Pond Garden and the Palm House, this venue effortlessly blends nature with glass architecture. Brooklyn Botanic accommodates weddings of various sizes—up to 275 guests in the Palm House or a more intimate 125 in the Atrium.

6. Celestine – DUMBO, Brooklyn

A neighborhood restaurant with unbeatable views.

Celestine is where contemporary design meets breathtaking views. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the East River which floods the space with light. The high-end restaurant offers a seasonal terrace perfect for intimate ceremonies. Private events allow for up to 75 guests from November through April, and up to 80 guests seated or 100 standing between May and October. If you want a stylish yet relaxed vibe for your intimate wedding, this is the spot.

7. Rule of Thirds – Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Minimalist, modern, and effortlessly cool.

For couples who love sleek design and incredible food, Rule of Thirds is a standout. This Japanese-inspired venue in Greenpoint offers a warm, minimalist space that feels both intimate and stylish. Plus, their food and cocktails are next level—your guests will be raving about them long after the wedding.

8. Milk & Roses – Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Milk & Roses is a Brooklyn gem that feels like a hidden treasure. The interior is lined with bookshelves and warm wood accents. And the outdoor space is lined with trees and string lights which brings a quintessential cozy charm to the venue. 9. Greenpoint Loft – Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Originally a pre-war warehouse, Greenpoint Loft is now a stunning wedding venue with exposed beams, high ceilings, and massive windows showcasing the NYC skyline. It’s the perfect blank canvas for couples who want to create a wedding that’s uniquely their own.

10. 501 Union – Gowanus, Brooklyn

501 Union blends industrial elegance and Art Deco inspiration. With its iconic black-and-gold bar, sky-lit lounge, and lush greenery, this venue gives you that modern edge you’re looking for. This venue is perfect for you if you’re envisioning a wedding that’s equal parts classic and contemporary.

11. Neptune Room at Radio Star – Greenpoint, Brooklyn

A hidden gem with charming, industrial vibes.

Nestled in the heart of Greenpoint, Glasserie Events at Radio Star offers a unique blend of industrial and rustic charm. The Neptune Room is a private event space featuring an indoor and outdoor space with a retractable roof and garden. With space for 20 to 150 guests, it’s an ideal spot for intimate and mid-size celebrations!

12. The Box House Hotel – Greenpoint, Brooklyn

The Box House Hotel is a sleek, modern venue that gives you the best of both worlds—city skyline views and intimate, thoughtfully designed spaces. Their rooftop is a dream for sunset ceremonies, and the industrial-chic interiors make for the perfect reception setting. If you’re looking for a venue that’s stylish and full of character with the connivence that a hotel provides, this is it!

13. The Liberty Warehouse – Red Hook, Brooklyn

If sweeping waterfront views is at the top of your wedding wish list, Liberty Warehouse may be your venue. Located right on the Brooklyn waterfront, this historic venue offers scenic views of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. The two main event rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows facing west (hello sunset views) and two smaller rooms ideal for ceremonies or intimate gatherings. The venue is one of the few Brooklyn wedding venues that accommodates 400 for seated dinner and up to 1,200 for cocktails, perfect for large scale weddings and events.
