If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love good food. And as a wedding photographer, I know how hard it can be for couples to find the perfect wedding venue for their big day, especially a venue that has great menu offerings. For those of you who are contemplating having your wedding at a restaurant, I wanted to put together a list of the best Boston restaurant wedding venues!
SRV Boston
SRV Boston is definitely one of my top favorites. I recently shot Natalie & Leon’s wedding here and it turned out beautifully. Located on Columbus Ave right here in Boston, SRV offers their private dining outdoor patio for the intimate wedding of your dreams. That space fits 45-65 people, but if you need a little extra space, it can expand into the main dining room that comfortably fits 100-200 people! Ready to book? Here’s where you can inquire.
Commonwealth Cambridge
If you’re into the rustic, laid back, more casual vibe, Commonwealth Cambridge might be perfect for you. They have quite a few different options when it comes to renting out the space, depending on how many guests you plan on having. You can rent out the Private Dining Room (up to 35 guests), The Market (up to 100 guests), the Main Dining Room (up to 80 people), or the entire restaurant space (up to 200 people). They also offer full catering and private dining menus! If this is the one for you, click here to inquire about your event.
Coppersmith
“Coppersmith – a dynamic venue serving globally-influenced comfort food in a vintage industrial warehouse.” I don’t know about you, but with that description, I’d be SOLD. This space can hold anywhere from 20-400 guests, so there’s truly something for everyone here. The entire venue is 12,000 square feet, and they have a built-in food truck in the dining room, two outdoor spaces and an intimate café. To inquire with them, you can click here.
Toro
Branch Line
Located in Watertown, MA, Branch Line is definitely one of the best Boston restaurant wedding venues. They currently offer multiple private and semi-private dining spaces, and you even have the option to rent out the entire space. You can take a look at their sample menus here (spoiler alert: they look really good), and if you’re ready to inquire, here you go.
Catalyst
Catalyst has 6 different spaces to choose from, and you can have a guest count of up to five hundred. They have an extensive food and beverage menu, so you’ll definitely be happy about your options! To view all the different spaces they offer, you can check out this page.
Glass House
The Glass House is actually currently closed to the public and exclusively hosts private events. How cool is that? Straight from their website: “Glass House is a restaurant and bar inspired by the history and identity of Kendall Square. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a vibrant color palette, the restaurant has been recognized locally and internationally for its eye-catching design.” Perfect for the couple looking for a modern venue, Glass House can hold seated events for up to 60 people, and 125 guests for an open reception space. If you’re already convinced, click here to get in touch!
Loyal Nine
My favorite thing about Loyal Nine is that they’re very focused on ethically sourcing their ingredients. They prioritize direct relationships with farmers and artisans, so you know you’re supporting local vendors. Although their website isn’t specific about how many guests they can accommodate, you can reach out to them here with any questions you might have.
Row 34
If you’re a fan of oysters and beer, Row 34 is THE venue for you. They have locations in Boston, Portsmouth, and Burlington, so you’ve got some options! To put in an event request for the Boston location, fill out this form.
Puritan & Co.
Puritan & Co serves Modern American cuisine with an emphasis on traditional New England fare, and all their ingredients are sourced from local farms. Their space is casual yet definitely beautiful enough to host your special day! Here is their event inquiry page.
